ABOUT FRANK BOYKIN

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SERVICE THAT MATTERS.
  • I have more than 25 years of business/industry experience with United Parcel Service (UPS), and nearly 30 years of experience serving my community. In those years with UPS, I watched the industry change, saw the birth and growth of global corporations as well as small business, and had the privilege to help those companies innovate time and time again. These experiences create a base of knowledge that will allow me to serve the residents and business owners of University Place as a council member.
  • With more than 25 years of deep connections to the Pierce County community, service has become a major part of my life. From serving on boards such as Annie Wright School, Pierce College Foundation, and appointments to Washington’s Commission on African American Affairs and University Place Planning commission, I have learned so much about this community and our need for continued engagement and dialogue. The future of our community depends on our ability to develop real collaborative plans and solutions that work for everyone. That means we need new experience and new voices at the table.
  • As a man of faith, a husband and father, I cannot express how important it is to me that University Place grows in a responsible and sustainable way. I love our community, and I plan to live here for many years to come, so I want to see us prosper.
  • We have some big decisions ahead, and it is important that we address them head-on. I believe there’s room at the table for everyone’s voice because engaged voters are informed voters. We need residents to be more informed and engaged, and I am committed to opening up the lines of communication, creating opportunities for engagement and education, and remaining centered in community.
  • I invite you to join me by showing your support, sharing your concerns, and expressing your hopes for the future.
  • Vote Frank Boykin for City Council, Position 2. Experience, knowledge, service that matters!
